OUR STORY
The motivation to start Mg12™ was fueled by personal experience and success with transdermal Magnesium.
Mg12 owner, Tom Strader, was preparing for spinal surgery after many years of working in construction. He was suffering from degenerative disc disease and had begun carrying a 5-gallon bucket between job sites in an effort to ease his pain and take the stress off his back. A friend from church suggested he try topical Magnesium to hopefully find some relief. After four weeks, Tom experienced incredible relief from his pain - so much so that surgery was no longer necessary. This healing was the catalyst to begin offering natural, effective topical products to countless people with a vast array of pain symptoms. More and more individuals are continuing to have their lives touched by the healing Power of Magnesium.

The Opioid addiction epidemic is a major health crisis facing our nation, over 72,000 people died in 2017 of drug overdoses in the United States. People have been using an overabundance of prescription opioid painkillers that has fueled this tragedy. Another area of concern is the overuse of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs – NSAIDs. These include aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil and Motrin) and naproxen sodium (Aleve). NSAIDs prevent the body from manufacturing prostaglandins.
These over the counter and prescription drugs were only intended for short-term use for pain management. However, they have serious side effects that increase the risk of heart attacks, strokes, stomach bleeds and injury to the kidneys with long-term use. Mg12™ is dedicated to help address this epidemic through additional education and providing alternative natural pain-relieving products to treat the source of the pain, not just the symptoms.

GMP Certified Facility
In 2023, our manufacturing facility received its GMP certification. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a system for ensuring products are consistently controlled according to quality standards. Our facility complies with GMP standards and undergoes yearly inspections to ensure our facility maintains GMP standards.
GMP guidelines provide minimum requirements that our manufacturing facility and process must meet to assure that our products are consistently high in quality, from batch to batch. This ensures products are free from contamination, that it is consistent in its manufacture, that its manufacture has been well documented, that personnel are well trained, and that the product has been checked for quality more than just at the end phase. Good Manufacturing Practices are recommended with the goal of safeguarding the health of consumers and patients as well as producing quality products.
